Taking place at The Castle in Old Town, this intimate live show begins at 8:30pm. Entry is free, with donations welcomed to support the artists and live music.

Put your knowledge to the test at Sonny’s Quiz Night, a fun and friendly evening perfect for teams of friends, family or workmates. Starting at 7pm, the quiz promises plenty of laughs, lively competition and a great atmosphere in the heart of Old Town. Entry is just a £2 donation, making it an affordable night out while supporting a good cause. Spaces are limited, so booking in advance via email is recommended.

Jazz Knights presents an exceptional evening of live jazz at the Royal Oak in Old Town, bringing together four of the UK’s most celebrated musicians for a world-class performance. Featuring saxophonist Derek Nash, pianist David Newton, bassist Dave Green and drummer Sebastiaan de Krom, the night promises dazzling musicianship, improvisation and timeless jazz classics in an intimate setting. From 12-5pm on the second day of the Old Town Festival’s Big Weekend features a format on Wood Street that is popular for the September Street Food Festival, with local food and drinks stalls and a musical stage but this time themed in the original style of the festival “Victoriana”.

Old Town Festival kicks off their Big Weekend with a huge Family Fun Day at The Town Gardens from 12-5pm. Food and drink, live music and dance groups, circus skills all come together for this amazing revival of the festival.
