Inspired by the traditional Mexican celebration, the event honours loved ones who have passed away through colourful decorations, handmade altars (ofrendas), marigold flowers, candles, music, and dance. Visitors can also enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine along with a variety of street food vendors offering delicious food throughout the event. Rather than being a sombre occasion, it is a joyful gathering that brings the community together to celebrate remembrance, heritage, and the lives of those who came before us.
